Overview

Baselayer is a modular data platform that helps financial institutions onboard businesses with confidence. By unifying identity, credit, and fraud intelligence, Baselayer replaces fragmented checks and manual processes with fast, trustworthy decisioning — powered by government-grade data, proprietary logic and built-in transparency.

As market momentum grew, the opportunity was clear: build a brand that could match Baselayer’s ambition. One that spoke with the credibility of a data provider, the clarity of a modern product and the authority of a category leader.

We partnered with Baselayer to sharpen their position, elevate the narrative and build a website that reflects the intelligence, precision and trustworthiness of the platform. The result is a brand designed to lead. And built to last.

A smarter story for a fragmented space

The “all-in-one” promise is everywhere — but often poorly delivered. Baselayer took a different path. We helped shape a narrative that redefines what unified really means: not just bundling features, but connecting identity, credit and fraud into a modular system that works at every level. It’s a smarter story. One that positions Baselayer not just as a product or a database, but as the new standard in business verification.

An attack on defensive measures

Traditionally, risk tools are framed around avoidance. Baselayer flips that script. By providing faster, more accurate trust signals, it helps financial institutions approve more of the right businesses — not just block the wrong ones. We carried that mindset shift through the brand and website, turning compliance from a checkbox into a growth lever. It’s a brand that moves beyond defensiveness: one that’s no risk and all reward.

No buyer left behind

Baselayer sells to risk teams, compliance leads, product managers and engineers, each with a different lens on the problem. We built a website that reflects that complexity without adding to it. Structured use cases, simplified product flows and flexible messaging modules help each audience find what they need. Whether the buyer is technical or non-technical, the experience makes Baselayer’s value fast to grasp.

Flexible brand foundations

Baselayer’s momentum is only accelerating: more partners, more products, more distribution. We designed a brand system and web platform to support that growth. From scalable messaging to modular CMS components, the system gives the team the tools to move quickly while staying consistent. The result is a foundation that matches Baselayer’s ambition: grounded, intelligent and ready to lead a changing category.
