# Motion Designer — Machine Version
We’re Together, a design and technology agency for ambitious B2B tech companies. We shape their brands, then build the websites and products that carry them. More of that work needs to move now, so we’re hiring a Motion Designer to make it move well.
**Location:** Remote, UK & Europe
**Salary:** £38000 — £48000
We're looking for a
### The role
This is a broad motion role that runs the full length of a project. You’ll move between brand, web and product, setting the motion language early and carrying it through to what ships. Some weeks lean on film and storytelling, others on interface and fine detail. Throughout, you’ll work closely with our designers and developers, rather than picking the work up at the end.
### What we're looking for
- An eye for how things move. The timing of a movement, the weight behind it. You can look at a still screen and know how it should behave. When two products do the same job, the way they feel is often what a buyer remembers. - Brand, web and product treated as one thing. Companies split them across teams and the seams show. The site says one thing, the product says another. Our clients come to us so a customer gets the same feeling wherever they land. You set the motion language in the brand work, then carry and adapt it onto the web. - Range. A launch film, UI animation, a run of social cuts, an explainer. All of it made to the same standard. - Motion that ships. A great animation that can’t run in a browser is no use to the product. You design within the real limits of the web, like file size and responsive layouts, and work with our developers on the harder parts, like data binding and performance. - Craft over tools. After Effects is where you’re fluent, and we need that from day one. New tools come and go (Rive, Figma Motion, whatever’s next), and you use AI to reach strong motion faster. The judgement behind the work is what lasts. - Feedback, given and taken well. It’s how the team holds to one standard. - Follow-through. Instinct matters. So does setting a realistic date with the team and then meeting it. - A real team player. Together isn’t only a name. When a project shifts or a deadline moves, you change tools and help where it’s needed.
### What you bring
- 3+ years in motion design, ideally with time inside a studio or brand team. - A showreel with range across brand, product and content, because the job moves between them. - Fluency in After Effects. Rive or 3D is a plus. - B2B tech experience is an advantage, not a requirement. A little will help you find your feet faster.
### How we work
Here, the same people stay with a project from the first conversation to the final check. Strategy, design and development work side by side, not through handoffs. The motion set early is the motion that ships, which means the work you shape is the work that reaches the customer.
## The benefits
### Perks and recreation
- Work remotely. With regular team get togethers. - Time off. Unlimited. - Stipends. Home office, gym, conferences.
